Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication may be given repeat prescriptions using the computerised request form.

Please allow two working days for your prescription to be processed and signed ready for collection. Normally we do not accept requests for prescriptions over the telephone for safety reasons.

Should you find difficulty in bringing your request form to the surgery there are various ways in which we can help.

• You can post your prescription request to us and, if you let us have a stamped addressed envelope, we will post the prescription back to you.
  
•  Alternatively, several of the local pharmacies offer a collection service, whereby they will collect your prescription from us and dispense your medication ready for you to collect from the pharmacy.
  
• You can order repeat prescriptions via our
  secure online ordering service.
